UNHCR teams are fanning out across the massive swathe of Rohingya refugee settlements in Bangladesh, aiming to count the families in order to provide a detailed map of needs amongst more than half a million new arrivals. The data collectors are using innovative smartphone tools to collect personalized data and gain a bird’s eye view of the influx behind the world’s fastest growing humanitarian crisis.
