UN Refugee Agency is committed to helping bring down barriers on disability

People with disabilities forced to flee their homes face particular difficulties and we need to make sure they are protected and supported, Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. His statement came just ahead of UN International Day for Persons with Disabilities, celebrated each year on 3 December.
