Rohingya children and women escaped conflict in Myanmar. They need your help

Nearly 600,000 Rohingya refugees have fled violence in Myanmar since August 25th, the vast majority are women and children, including new-born babies. This is now known as the fastest-growing refugee emergency in the world.

Thousands of families arrive hungry, in poor physical condition and in need of life-saving support after their terrible ordeal and the long and dangerous journey they do to survive.

UNHCR is working on the ground with its partners to register the new arrivals and provide them with lifesaving aid like shelter, food, water and healthcare.

UNHCR is working tirelessly with its partners to register the new arrivals and provide them with lifesaving aid like shelter, food, water and healthcare. Moreover, the ninth UNHCR airlift landed in Dhaka to deliver new batches of core relief items.

Due to the huge number of refugees, and as the influx is increasing daily, needs are escalating, leaving our operations in Bangladesh underfunded.

We urgently need your donations to help the Rohingya refugees.

We need your support in order to:
1. Tackle rising malnutrition.
2. Provide support to malnourished refugees on arrival to UNHCR protected areas.
3. Prevent and contain diseases, which can make malnutrition worse.
4. Ensure treatment for those who are malnourished.
5. Ensure that families are protected in the Longer Term.
6. Provide support for pregnant women and new mums.
