Eleven relatives of people suspected of complicity in the abortive coup attempt to overthrow the government of President Ibrahim Babandida on 22 April 1990 were released (Agence France Presse 12 Mar. 1992; Reuters 12 Mar. 1992; West Africa 29 Mar. 1992). Information on the treatment of persons who remain in detention by the Nigerian authorities could not be found among the sources currently available at the DIRB.
