Comments The Protocol was adopted by the Diplomatic Conference on the Reaffirmation and Development of International Humanitarian Law Applicable in Armed Conflicts in Geneva. It was signed on 12 December 1977. Entry into force on 7 December 1978, in accordance with Article 23.
