Fleeing for their lives, over 5 million Syrian refugees are in urgent need of aid. More than half of them are children.

The crisis in Syria is the largest humanitarian operation in history. The number of Syrian refugees has now reached two million, and over half of these refugees are children. UNHCR is mobilising support both within Syria and to the neighbouring countries of Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Iraq, who are hosting the majority of the refugees from this crisis.
