It took Jelena 20 years to achieve rights that most of us take for granted. Yet, today at least 10 million people around the world don’t have a nationality in any country. Statelessness can mean a life with no access to education or health care, and no possibility of working legally, getting a driver’s license or even getting married.
To end this inhumanity, UNHCR is working to eradicate statelessness and ensure everyone has a nationality. In order to do this, we need YOUR help. Please donate today to support UNHCR’s efforts to end statelessness around the world.
