    Why is it that it is always the International actors who have to fight to get local and national NGO space to speak. They exist in their own right. Localization is about giving their own voices. The more independent voices who speak out are shut down or sidelined and are not herd

    I/we see and hear you and your words matter. It was at who fought for space so I can speak from the field and everything I said was not in spirit of what you experienced. matters

    Terrific chairmanship by Ambassador Jerry Matjila at opening plenary session. Member State speeches important, intelligent and serious but very numerous and very repetitive. Session immensely enhanced by Jerry’s witty and mischievous ripostes between each speech

    This is what can build trust and confidence in the network and its members. If not there is reputational risk for organizations associated with network. “The legitimacy of the network is fundamentally reliant on the quality and extent of member participation”. Ben Ramalingam

    Good practice in network management: Financial accountability and transparency is key to more sustainable organisation. Board members should exercise financial oversight and good stewardship of funds raised.
