    Trump tweets that refugees shouldn't get a chance to make their asylum claim before a judge. Foundation of post WWII refugee protections, gov'ts can't return refugees to persecution. Removal of judicial authority is one of the biggest signs of abandoning democracy.

    Last night at a restaurant in Torrance, CA strangers thanked me for telling the truth. I politely said thank you. Their actions say far more about our nation than about me. This also happens to me at the mall, airports & coffee shops. This is what happens when you tell the truth.

    Everybody deserves the right to a fair judicial process

    We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order. Most children come without parents...

    It is not a crime to request asylum. We should not be separating families. We should not be detaining families. Neither is moral. Both violate international and U.S. law. I've called my Members of Congress. Will you?

    President Trump's executive order is just political theater and we will not be buying tickets to the show. You have the power to change the course of this country by calling 1-844-797-4602 to tell Congress what you think!

    Perhaps the plan all along was to do a thing so egregious that, when you stop doing it, you still get to do what you wanted to do all along. Detain entire families. Indefinitely. In camps. And call it humane.
