The tank shop foreman gives Kirill a probationary period at his department. Vladimir meets his supervisor who teaches him the basics of tank assembling. He accomplishes his first tasks and makes his first mistakes. Kirill is also getting used to his new position. Meanwhile, his girlfriend is trying to come up with a way to tell him her secret.

The largest tank producer in the world, Uralvagonzavod, is located in the Siberian city of Nizhny Tagil. This series follows Kirill and Vladimir, two young factory workers who have long dreamt of being taken on in the prestigious tank workshop. They are both lucky enough to be offered work placements there, although only one permanent place is up for grabs.
