Zinaida Ivanova was the youngest of five children in a family trapped in the Siege of Leningrad. Even though she was only three and a half when the war began, she vividly remembers the horrors of living in a city devastated by hunger.

2015 marks 70 years since the end of World War II – one of the bloodiest conflicts in the history of mankind. Some of those who helped to win the war and protect the world from the Nazi threat are still alive today. Real stories of veterans and survivors of the Great Patriotic War.
