So, this is my [Shoshana's] coming out story.
I found it very difficult to talk about in front of the camera, because it did involve some very scary and upsetting experiences (though I don't go into depth about those). On the plus side, it has a happy ending, so don't be afraid to watch it! I got there in the end!
I am a very visual person... so I tried a different approach and tried drawing! It's a bit like the way other youtubers have done their "Draw My Life" videos.
I hope you like it or find it helpful or comforting in some way... or maybe it can just be an interesting story for you?
Let me know if you have questions about coming out, or if you'd like to learn more about mental illness. I would love to be able to help other people with things I found difficult. I've thought about making a video just to raise some more awareness and share my personal experience, but I've been hesitating about it for complicated reasons.
