The movie 'Innocence of Muslims' has caused a global outrage amongst some of the Muslim communities, and although I can understand the offence they took, this does not excuse the violence and killings they have done.

However, I believe there is more to the protests than just anger about a movie on YouTube. The pain the Middle East has endured over the decades from the West has been building up huge frustration, and now they have a moment to send a message to the world, they are doing so in full force!
