Ingredients you'll need:

Coloured Vanilla Cake
215g flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
132g sugar
187ml milk
65ml oil
60g butter
1tbsp yogurt
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 drops blue or pink food gel
1 tsp strawberry essence

Chocolate Cupcakes
100g cocoa powder
350g all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
450g caster sugar (yes, this is the right amount)
350g unsalted butter, softened
4 large eggs, at room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
350ml milk
chocolate sauce

Mini Meringues
55g egg whites
150g caster sugar (superfine, not powdered or granulated)
1 tsp strawberry essence
1 drop pink food gel
1 drop blue food gel

Frosting
1 batch fluffy vanilla buttercream frosting
