Cubs fans are not realists, they just see the word "Cubs" and immediately bow down. Where's your logistic thinking? The Cubs are good, and yes they PROBABLY CAN win the series but can you admit that there are other teams a little more deserving based on how good they are this year?

Omar Morales Luna: +Carmen Bubba Brehmer Yes as a White Sox fan i know a little more about not getting respect. Our 2005 team is literally one of the best teams in the history of MLB. (plus i'm certain the cubs get plenty of respect, as soon as they're relevant suddenly the media jumps over them) like in 2003, everyone talked about Kerry Wood and Mark Prior and paid no attention to the Cubs horrible bullpen and lack of a solid 7-8-9 hitters, everyone thought they were World Series bound.

But what I'm asking isn't about faith in your team, its simply the logistical possibility that you WILL NOT win the series (which you answered in your second comment). i happen to be a cardinals fan. even with 100 wins i think logically, with all of their injuries, i still have faith, but without a complete team it will be difficult. I guess i put my love of baseball above my team and think bigger.

Stephen Ipock: I agree +Erik Miller. If Harper wants to be a leader on this team he needs to show it on the field when they are down. Where Paps was wrong was when the altercation turned physical.

Topher White: +Erik Miller +Stephen Ipock Absolutely. Sure they're not going to the Postseason this year, but as a professional baseball player, you just respect the game and the competition. Run out the pop-fly, you could have gotten aboard, changed the outcome of the game. Both clubs had 4 runs at that point.

Butcher Chop: +Brian Myles Dude already has a partner so I'm sure it was brought up or he saw a chance to be perfectly blunt about it.
I've been invited to bars, clubs, girl strip bars. I go for the beer, music, pool and I don't mind seeing naked women, but it gets to that point, if I'm not out yet, it makes it so much easier to just tell people I'm Gay and I'm good. I wasn't asked, but just being honest. People would say "why come out"? Sometimes you just tell it like it is. It's others that make it a big deal.

Willie Dixon: I'm a Northside & Southside fan of both the Cubbies and Sox. I don't see why a person can't cheer for them both. I pray this is the cub's year and Chris Sale win's the "Cy Young" award. Besides with all the talent and ability the both of them have coming up through their farm system. I can say at the very least, they will be in contingency with other teams for the next 10 year's if handled correctly! W!!!

Then the Cardinals were picked over the Giants, especially the least coasters. What happened there? Then the Royals were picked over the Giants. Especially the least coasters. Hello!! Do you see a pattern? Don't be overconfident. Giants fans are not underconfident, if that's a word. The Pirates were even picked in the 1 game wild card playoff last year against the Giants. Hello. Giants still have Bochy, best manager in baseball. Just bring it, like the Rock says.

I get that ur jealous of what the Blue Jays have... Still 2 months left to catch the royals too. Hate to break it to you but second place in a world series doesn't really mean anything... You have to actually win the world series. Ur an educated man right, that should be simple for you to understand. if I was a Royals fan (Lol🙊🙊🙊) I would be worried about why my closer keeps getting rocked.

Rob Walton: As a Jays fan, I'm obviously hopeful that they can make it back to the playoffs this year. The Yanks and the O's and even Tampa all have good teams this year. Still a lot of games to be played, especially 10 more v the Yanks so nothing is decided yet. It WILL be a great race for sure.

alan murr: But a Cubs baseball game doesn't mean NOTHING to me at this time. 22 hours from now Toronto will play Texas to determine one of the two teams to play in the American League Championship series. I see the Cubs up 4 to 2 half way through the game. If Toronto wasn't playing a more important game tomorrow, I would probably would be enjoying this game, but with such a much bigger game tomorrow as far as Toronto fans are concerned, this Cubs vs. Cards game is like a game in March. I'd be thrilled to see Toronto in the world series with anyone, it's just Chicago is my sentimental favorites but if they lose to the Cardinals, I won't lose any sleep over it. I'm too nervous to watch this game, I just want to get a win tomorrow in game 5 vs. Texas!
