U.S. Paralympic National Team goalkeeper Alex Hendricks dreamed of wearing the U.S. Soccer crest as a child, but at the age of 12, a freak injury while playing futsal led doctors to discover a brain tumor. As a result, he underwent major surgery and was pronounced dead on the operating table twice. Alex eventually regained his soccer ability and has been a part of the team for over five years
