Salma Abdelaziz specializes in news and features from the Middle East, including the rise of ISIS, Arab revolutions and the Syrian civil war. She's also reported and produced for CNN from Egypt and Gaza.

The Egyptian native got her start at CNN as a digital media researcher. She holds a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgia Tech and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Georgia State University.
