Police are hunting burglars who stole a car, then used the owner's bank cards to buy beer and tobacco.

The thieves stole a handbag containing the car keys and cards from a house in Ockley Road, Bognor on 27 May, driving away in the vehicle.

The following morning they used the cards in two Tesco Local stores in Aldwick Road and Station Road.

Police want to speak to the people in this CCTV about the incidents.

Police in Bognor are trying to identify the man in these images after a charity box was stolen from a mosque.

The box was taken from the lobby area of WS Muslim Society in Spencer Street and emptied of cash.

It happened at about 19:30 BST on Wednesday 26 July.

Officers are asking anyone who recognises the man to get in touch.

A yellow warning of rain has been issued for the South East over the next couple of days.

Talks aimed at resolving a long-running dispute over driver-only operated trains on Southern rail have "stalled" with no agreement, the RMT union said.

It follows more than two hours of talks between leaders of the union and officials from Southern's parent firm, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).

RMT general secretary Mick Cash called for round table discussions involving all parties to now take place.

"This dispute can be resolved, we have no doubt about that," he said.

Sussex Police are working with the Marine Accident Investigations Branch to try and discover how a boat sank off the coast of Shoreham yesterday leaving one man dead and two others unaccounted for.

A man was rescued from the water in the early hours of the morning and the search for the missing men was suspended yesterday afternoon.

The four men on board were all Romanian nationals. Two are from Brighton and two, including the survivor, are from London.

The five-metre boat they were travelling in left Shoreham Harbour shortly after midnight on Sunday morning for a fishing trip.

The 45-year-old survivor has told police the boat was struck by another vessel at about 02:00 BST.

We are now trying to establish the circumstances and to identify the other vessel involved. An earlier appeal for information prompted a significant number of calls and I would like to thank people for their prompt responses, which enabled us to quickly identify who had been involved. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of all those who have been involved in this tragic incident."

About 300,000 people are estimated to have gathered in Brighton this weekend to celebrate Brighton Pride.

This year's event was themed Summer of Love to mark 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales.

The search for a swimmer missing off the coast of Seaford has been called off.

He was last seen going into the water near Splashpoint at 17:00 BST yesterday.

Coastguard and RNLI volunteers resumed their search this morning but the man hasn't been found.

It's a gloomy afternoon and the outlook for the next two days is wet.

Police are searching for a man who launched a vicious attack which put a 12-year-old boy in hospital.

It happened in Morrison's supermarket in Bedford Street, Bognor Regis, around 14:30 BST on 23 July.

The man punched the boy to the ground, then kicked him as he lay there.

The child was taken to hospital with cuts and bruises.

Detectives have issued an e-fit of the attacker, who's described as in his 50s, and was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey or blue shorts and possibly flip-flops.

The RNLI is urging people to "respect the water" this summer as part of a drowning prevention campaign.

The charity says more people die in UK waters in August than any other month.

Seven men died in the sea at Camber last summer.

A call to trading standards officers about a faulty charger in Haywards Heath led to the seizure of £1.3m worth of fake Apple products.

The £59 charger, which was branded as an Apple item, overheated when plugged into a Macbook.

Experts from Apple quickly confirmed it was a dangerous fake.

Trading standards officers followed the trail from Haywards Heath to another store in Brighton, and then to a warehouse in Kingston-Upon-Thames, which were raided with help from the Metropolitan Police.

Inside they found piles of fake chargers, batteries, cables, headphones and adaptors, many of them marked with the same serial number.
