The defence team for two Burmese migrant workers found guilty of murdering two British backpackers will argue the reliability of forensic procedures in a final appeal.
Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Tun were sentenced to death for the murders of David Miller, 24, from Jersey, and Hannah Witheridge, 23, from Norfolk, in December 2015.
Nakhon Chompuchat, head of the defence team, is expected to argue the forensic match in samples collected from Miss Witheridge's body and the defendants were unreliable.
It is not yet known when a decision on the appeal will be made.
