(4/29) April 29th "International Astronomy Day".
(8/12-13) One of the brightest meteor showers of the year, the Perseid meteor shower peaks on the night of Saturday, Aug. 12 and the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 13. A waning gibbous moon may hamper the view of the meteor shower's peak this year. Perseid meteors will appear in the sky from July 17 to Aug. 24.
(8/16) NASA TV will air live coverage of the rendezvous, grapple and installation of the SpaceX Dragon CRS-12 cargo spacecraft at the International Space Station starting at 5:30 a.m. EDT (0930 GMT). Grappling is scheduled for 7 a.m. EDT (1100 GMT)
(8/21) Total Solar Eclipse 2017 - On Aug. 21, 2017, people across the United States will see the sun disappear behind the moon, turning daylight into twilight, causing the temperature drop rapidly and revealing massive streamers of light streaking through the sky around the silhouette of the moon. On that day, America will fall under the path of a total solar eclipse.
(9/6) The full moon of September will occur on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 3:03 a.m. EDT (0803 GMT). September's full moon is known as the Full Harvest Moon.
(9/12) Expedition 53/54 crewmembers Mark Vande Hei of NASA and Alexander Misurkin of the Russian space agency Roscosmos will launch atop a Russian Soyuz rocket on a mission to the International Space Station.
(9/15) NASA's Cassini orbiter will plunge into Saturn, ending a nearly 20-year mission.

The ISS passes into the dark side of the earth for roughly half of each of its 90 minute orbits. As the Space Station passes into a period of night every 45 mins video is unavailable - during this time, and other breaks in transmission recorded footage is shown when back in daylight earth will recommence.
