About

Christi Scott is a Producer with the CNN.com homepage video team. She joined the Atlanta bureau in January 2012 after migrating south from Cincinnati, where she previously worked with the assignment desk at Local 12, WKRC-TV. Working as a Video Journalist, Scott quickly gained newsroom and live studio experience before shifting to CNN's digital team as an Associate Producer. During her time with "dot com," she has produced, edited, written, curated, pitched, posted, programmed, and published online content for CNN's digital audience. Scott was promoted to a Producer position with the homepage video team, where she continues to create content in addition to programming video for the homepage on weekends.

Before crossing the Mason-Dixon line, Scott worked as a videographer at Forest Home camps in California where she directed, filmed, edited, and produced videos for the campers, whom she had the pleasure of working with.

Scott earned a bachelor of the arts degree with distinction in mass communications from Purdue University in 2010 with minors in Spanish and film and video studies. She also received the Greg Zawisza Scholarship Award that same year for excellence in telecommunications.
