IRAP in the Courts

The court rulings blocking the Muslim bans have demonstrated the need to turn to the judicial branch to check executive abuse of power. In order to be able to quickly respond to executive overreach, IRAP has created our own in-house litigation shop and will continue to aggressively litigate in support of refugees’ and immigrants’ rights.

Our Response to the Executive Order

Thousands of refugees and immigrants were stranded, detained, or deported in the aftermath of the President’s travel ban. IRAP immediately mobilized an emergency task-force of over 1,600 lawyers at airports across the country to ensure their rights. We are also fighting the Executive Order in the press and in the courts.
