Could South Korea be the new Silicon Valley?

How do you build a hi-tech industry?

In South Korea at least - you pour $70bn into it, in a bid to generate new businesses.

The government effort will focus on the city of Pangyo, south of Seoul, where there are already many hi-tech companies.

The idea is to offer help to young entrepreneurs at a special centre the Korean media likens to Silicon valley. The BBC's Korea correspondent Stephen Evans reports.
