Man arrested over alleged rape at Glasgow hotel

A man has been arrested by police investigating the alleged rape of a 21-year-old woman at a hotel in Glasgow city centre.
Officers were called to the Travelodge in Queen Street at 05:50 on Tuesday.
Police Scotland said a 23-year-old man was in custody in connection with the alleged serious sexual assault.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later.
