IRIN Association allows non-profit organisations to use individual IRIN materials on an ad-hoc or one-off basis, so long as IRIN and the author are clearly credited and the organisation links back to www.irinnews.org. Permission to republish must be granted in advance in writing. If the material has been translated, we ask that you include a disclaimer to note that IRIN is not responsible for the accuracy of the translation.
For for-profit entities, we request a modest payment to support our coverage of these critical issues.
Blanket republication rights require a syndication agreement – to be agreed on a case-by-case basis.
In all cases, we ask for a record of your use of the material (PDF scan, screenshot, URL or hard copy) and audience statistics in order to demonstrate impact and reach to our donors.
