    On 5th July 1969, Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya (Tom Mboya) was killed by a gunman on Government Road (now Moi Avenue). Victoria Street was subsequently called "Tom Mboya Avenue". Kindly let me know if you saw any articles in his memory from a media outlet this year.
