About Julien
French singer-songwriter Julien Clerc was appointed a National Goodwill Ambassador in October 2003, and has travelled to Chad and Cameroon to meet refugees and advocate on their behalf.
For over ten years, Julien has raised significant funds for refugees through assigning the rights of songs to UNHCR, taking part in telethons and emergency appeals, securing public and private sector donations, appearing at events and performing in concerts. He has also undertaken extensive interviews, raising awareness for refugee issues on radio, television and print media in France.
