On appeal from the High Court, Administrative Court: R (on the application of Min Min and Zahra Ali Omar) v. Secretary of State for the Home Department [2008] EWHC 1604 (Admin); and Tekle v. Secretary of State for the Home Department [2008] EWHC 3064 (Admin). The judgment was subsequently appealed before the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom: [2010] UKSC 36.
