Khaled Hosseini tells Payman’s Story
Author Khaled Hosseini, a former refugee from Afghanistan, and UNHCR Ambassador, visited Syrian refugees in northern Iraq. Khaled met many inspiring refugees, including Payman, an aspiring writer. Khaled was especially moved by this young woman when she burst into tears because she was missing out on her education.
