Brutal conflict in South Sudan has forced millions of families to flee their homes in what is now the largest refugee crisis in Africa. To add to the hardship, this displacement and ongoing conflict has led to critical food shortages and chronic malnutrition. Nearly half of the total 1.6 million South Sudanese refugees have fled to Uganda, arriving exhausted, hungry and suffering the trauma of rape and indiscriminate killings.
