Still hot for many, heavy thundery showers in the north
Much of England and Wales will be hot and humid again. Southern parts will have widespread sunshine but there will be more cloud further north. Heavy thundery showers are likely in the north of England, Northern Ireland and in Scotland.
Temperatures hit 34.4C (94F) in the UK, as the mercury soars to its highest point in 41 years.
