Japan: 1. Is a Japanese long-term/permanent visa that is granted to a foreign national in Japan on the basis of being the spouse of a Japanese national contingent on the continuing relationship of the foreign national with his/her Japanese spouse? Are there different provisions regarding separation and divorce? 2. What conditions must be met in order for a person to use a Japanese re-entry permit?
