For information on the possibility of Somalis acquiring citizenship or other legal residence status in Yemen, please consult Response to Information Request YEM19485.E of 19 January 1995. Response to Information Request YEM19032.E of 1 December 1994 discusses whether a child of Somali parents with temporary worker permits can acquire Yemeni citizenship.
