Sources currently available to the DIRB contain no references to the ill-treatment of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) members in Azad Kashmir by Azad Kashmiri separatist groups. However, the attached articles provide information on the treatment of PPP members by the Azad Kashmiri authorities in the period 1991 to 1993.

This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
