In accordance with the provisions of Para. (a) or Article (42) of the Constitution,

The Revolutionary Command Council have decided, in their session held on 23.6.1988, the following:

First - Enforcement period of a passport shall expire after the lapse of four years over its issuance date.It may be extended once for not exceeding four years.

Second - This Resolution shall be regarded as amendment to the Revolutionary Command Council Resolution No. 525 dated 7.5.1983 as well as Resolution No. 917 dated 23.8.1983.

Third - This Resolution shall be operated from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
