According to a representative of the Zambian Mission to the United Nations in New York, children of families holding a renewable Temporary Workers Resident Visa who reach the age of 21 are no longer included in their parents' visa. They are not, however, subject to deportation, unless they have a criminal record (13 Oct. 1992). According to the same source, the government of Zambia may issue a renewable study permit to those who have not finished their studies. Those who have already graduated from school may be issued an extendable work permit (Ibid.).
