For information on the above-mentioned subjects, please consult the attached 24 January 1996 facsimile from the director of the Venezuelan non-governmental organization Acción ciudadana contra el SIDA (ACCSI), which specializes in helping victims of HIV/AIDS.

Also attached are the latest statistical reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the WHO/Pan American Health Organization on the global situation of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
