Comments Adopted by EU leaders, meeting in Berlin on 24 and 25 March to celebrate the EU's 50th anniversary. The "Berlin Declaration" marks 50 years of European integration, recalls EU achievements, not least lasting peace and stability on the European continent, and looks ahead to the next 50 years. It highlights the common values and principles underlying the European project, and also highlights the EU's political determination to move ahead and define the mission for the European Union of tomorrow.
