UEFA Investigating Racism Allegations Against CSKA Moscow

European football's governing body, UEFA, has opened an investigation into claims of racism among CSKA Moscow fans during the Russian club's Champions League match against Manchester City on October 23.
City midfielder Yaya Toure, who is black and grew up in the Ivory Coast, said he was racially abused by CSKA fans in "unbelievable" fashion during the match at the Khimki Arena on the outskirts of Moscow.
CSKA officials said they had reviewed video of the game and found no racist insults from CSKA fans.
CSKA said on their website they were "surprised and disappointed" by the racism allegations.
The claims come as Russia prepares to host two of the biggest sporting events in the world, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi in February and the 2018 football World Cup.
According to the "Guardian" newspaper, Toure warned that players could boycott the World Cup if Russian soccer officials don't rectify the racist abuse problem there.
