An official from CEIC confirms that the usual policy with regard to Polish claimants in the backlog is not to counsel voluntary departure and not to issue a letter of introduction for an interview at a Canadian visa office. He stressed, however, that each case is different and suggested that you consult the local backlog office (CEIC-West Georgia) which will be able to supply you with information on the policy which applies to the circumstances of your client's case.
