In addition to Response to Information Request DMA17103.E of 18 April 1994, please find attached two documents on the requested subject sent to the DIRB by the Dominica National Council of Women. These documents provide information and references on legislation, a crisis intervention program, police action in reported cases, prosecution of offenders and counselling for victims.

This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
