The Commission on Human Rights, Mindful of resolution 1982/2 of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, related to the revision and updating of the study on the question of the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide,[2]60 Expressing its great concern and anxiety at the fact that acts of genocide are committed in various regions of the world, Recommends the following draft resolution to the Economic and Social Council for adoption: [For the text, see chap.
