No information on whether an article written by Hemantha Randunu entitled "Higher Ranked Police Officers Are Sad Over the Death of the Beautiful Mistress of the Underworld Leader," subtitled "The Death is a Mystery. Requests to Carry Out Proper Investigations" was published in the Sinhalese newspaper Divaina on 19 July 2000 could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
