About Jung Woo-sung
South Korean actor, Jung Woo-sung was appointed a UNHCR National Goodwill Ambassador in June 2105. He has travelled to Nepal, South Sudan and Lebanon to see UNHCR’s frontline work and undertaken extensive fundraising and awareness-raising work on behalf of the refugees that he has met.
As well as personally donating to UNHCR he has supported UNHCR’s fundraising work with the general public and in the private sector, recording filmed messages, writing articles, appearing at events, featuring in our fundraising appeals. As one of the most popular actors in South Korea he guarantees broad coverage of all his activities and events for UNHCR on print, online and TV media.
