Are the mass round ups of political opponents that were taking place by the caretaker government in May/June 2008 still a feature of politics in Bangladesh in October 2008 or, have things settled down? 2. Elections were due to be held in Bangladesh in October 2008, but apparently they were postponed. When are they now due to be held?

Please provide information on the treatment of returnees to Bangladesh who were supporters or members of the Freedom Party? Given the current political situation is it likely that a person with such an association would be targeted by government authorities or any other groups after being outside of Bangladesh since 1995?
