I’m addressing the challenge of how to access an alternative cooking energy other than firewood.

Despite the provision of Kerosene stoves and Kerosene fuel periodically for the refugees, the people of concern at large remain dependent on the collection of firewood as a cooking energy. This is not permissible by the host (local) government and community members in the operation, and collecting of firewood is often a source of SGBV.

I want to find a solution to this challenge because of environmental concerns, as well as concerns relating to the safety of refugees in a mechanism that could generate income to the refugees as well..
