In accordance with the provisions of Para. (A) of Article 42 of the Constitution,

The Revolutionary Command Council have decided the following:

1. Nationals of the Arab Cooperation Council's countries shall have the right of entering into and departing from Iraq with the valid passport issued by their countries without obtaining entry and exit visas.They shall be exempted from restrictions of transference and residence as mentioned in the Foreigners' Residence Law No. 118 of 1978 (as amended), without prejudice of security requirements, in cases defined by the competent security authorities.

2. Nationals of the Arab Cooperation Council's shall be exempted from duties imposed on their entry into and leaving Iraq and on the transport of their own vehicles.

3. Any text contradicting the provisions of this Resolution shall not be operated.

4. This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette, and deemed valid as from July 17, 1989.
