UNHCR in Kenya places high regard in creating awareness among the public about the plight of refugees and the Kenya refugee programme.  Kenyans have coexisted with the refugees peacefully over the years.  It is because of this that we use different channels to disseminate information about the current and evolving situation.  Our main partners include the media, institutions of higher learning and the civil society. We believe that interaction and communication is power.
