About Kat
Swiss-born American actress and singer Kat Graham has supported UNHCR since 2013.
In 2014, Kat visited Syrian families in Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan and, in 2015, travelled to the Mexico-Guatemala border to meet women and children who have fled violence in the Northern Triangle in Central America.
Kat has told the stories about the refugees she has met in print and broadcast interviews, helping to shine a spotlight on the global refugee crisis and UNHCR’s work via her social media channels. Kat has supported key UNHCR events and campaigns, including World Refugee Day, the iBelong campaign to end statelessness, the Nansen Refugee Award.
