Child Protection in Emergencies Working Group - Lebanon
|
The Child Protection in Emergencies Working Group (CPiEWG) strategy aims to provide a framework for the child protection sector`s response to the child protection issues exacerbated or emerging from the Syrian crisis. It identifies and focuses on key evidenced based child protection priorities and adopts an integrated approach to programming aimed at building the resilience of boys and girls through the provision of prevention and response services. It also relies on the use of advocacy and sensitisation strategies which seek to promote, address and mitigate violence, neglect, exploitation and abuse against children. This section of the web portal is designed to host the coordination documents of the working group. The MSNA was established, in light of the Syrian crisis, to enhance the humanitarian response in Lebanon. It aims to help prioritise humanitarian assistance, by identifying the most pressing needs, within and among sectors, and identify gaps in assisting these priority needs. This report represents the findings of phase one, a secondary data review and analysis of available data shared with the MSNA team.
